HCS Teams Compete at Nebraska FLL

The Nebraska First Lego League hosted a two-day state robotics competition this year on March 15 and 16 instead of having four regional qualifiers.

Many engaging opportunities were offered on Friday including special tours and engineering displays.

Heartland's teams, The PeepBots (5th and 6th grade team) and The Ballin' Bots (7th and 8th grade team), participated in their project, robot design, and judging session on Friday.

On Saturday, the teams participated in three official robot matches.

Former Heartland alumnus Cody Brown served as a robot design judge at the competition.

The elementary and junior high teams are coached by Carrie Regier.
