Emma spent the weekend showing pigs. She won the FFA Overall Breeding Gilt Division with her dark colored cross gilt.

Labor Day weekend and FFA weekend at the Nebraska State Fair go hand in hand. This year was no exception. Members from across the state braved the heat to show their livestock and static exhibits. Heartland members attended the fair on Friday, September 4, to help set up the static exhibit area located in the 4H/FFA Fieldhouse. On Saturday, static exhibits were judged. The livestock barns hosted the showmanship and breeding shows on Sunday. Monday brought the close of the fair, market shows, and clean up of the static exhibits.
