Braden Janzen Selected for All-State Choir

Heartland Community Schools student Braden Janzen has been selected to participate in the 2025 Nebraska All-State Choir held November 20-22 on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Braden was selected from among 1,400 singers across the state who auditioned for a spot in the 430 voice choir.

This year’s All-State Choir will be directed by Dr. Pearl Shangkuan, Professor Ameritas at Calvin University in Grand Rapids Michigan. The choir will rehearse with Dr. Shangkuan for three days and present a final concert in conjunction with the All-State Jazz Band on Saturday, November 22, at 4:30 p.m.
