JH Quiz Bowl Competed at SNC Tournament
Heartland JH Quiz Bowl competed at the SNC tournament in Hebron on Wednesday, January 28. Both teams competed in pool play in the morning and then were seeded for a double-elimination tournament after lunch. The team of Jack Bearinger, David Jahnke, Avery Hiebner, Finley Eckman, and Tori Buzek made it to the quarterfinals before losing the the eventual champions of Thayer Central.
The team of Tori Thieszen, Makaelyn Goertzen, Paizley Dennis, Jada Quiring, and Taylor Schmidt competed very well, too. In pool play, they defeated the Thayer Central team that won the tournament!
