Four Heartland FBLA Members Attended National Conference
Four Heartland FBLA members attended the 2026 FBLA High School National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, on June 29–July 2.
Students attending the conference with chaperones Chad and Stephanie Buzek were: (Junior) Tara Buzek (Business Communication); (Sophomores) Brooks Burgess (Introduction to Retail and Merchandising), Kate Haidle (Accounting); and (Freshman) Aiden Bartek.
In addition to competing at the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, they enjoyed a variety of unforgettable experiences. Highlights included visiting both Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World, exploring the Alamo, and venturing down the famous San Antonio Riverwalk.
They also attended the Central Region Rally where Heartland FBLA received a banner in recognition of National Champion Chapter Gold status. That same evening, the group enjoyed Andretti Extreme Racing and Gaming with the entire Nebraska delegation.
