FBLA Members to Host Alzheimer's Awareness Event on Saturday
Launch the media gallery 1 playerHeartland FBLA members Kate Haidle, Ashlyn Friesen, and Julia Tessman will host an Alzheimer's Awareness Event on Saturday, January 31. The event and raffle will take place at the H&H Basketball Games which begin at 2:30 p.m. at Heartland.
It is designed to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, brain health, and the importance of early detection. The FBLA members desire to share information and raise money to fund the research for a cure.
Raffle items include: 10 lbs of ground beef from Henderson Meat Processors, a $50 Amazon gift card, an electronic mini basketball hoop, a Henderson Pool Pass, and more! Raffle tickets will cost $2 for one ticket or $5 for three tickets. Prizes will be drawn during halftime of the boys varsity game.
Everyone is invited to come support those with Alzheimer’s and the Alzheimer’s Association!
