Junior High Student Council

The junior high student council, sponsored by Cindy Huebert and Amber Koehn, has been very busy this year.  Each homeroom selected one seventh grader or one eighth grader per semester.  The fall semester committee included MacKenzie Dick, Michelle Newton, Tyler Ratzlaff, Rory Van den Berg, Bryce Wall, and Aubrey Saltus.  Currently serving on the student council are Karla Buller, Landon Berg, Tana Siebert, Morgan Peters, Katie Thiesen, and Alyssa Ott.

Some of their projects for the year have been recycling and collection and assistance with the high school food drive.  The student council also started a concession stand during volleyball season, which was available  through basketball season.  A school climate survey was distributed during homeroom and the student council discussed the results.  They also planned social events for the junior high during homecoming week.  Currently, they are planning spring fling activities leading up to a dance on Friday, March 28, 2003 to be held in the Bradshaw attendance center cafeteria.
