Homecoming Recap 2025

It was a great week of celebration for Heartland's 2025 Homecoming.

On Sunday evening, the booster club hosted a bonfire in Bradshaw for the high school students.

To kick off the week, Monday's theme was "USA." Red, white, and blue resounded through the halls.

On Tuesday, a school pep rally was held in the north gym for K-12 students. The event included the school song, a performance from the cheerleaders, recognition of students participating in extracurricular activities, and a trivia and physical contest among the high school classes. The dress theme was "Rhyme without Reason" where students grabbed friends and dressed as words that rhymed.

Wednesday for the high school was "Anything but a backpack/water bottle" and for the elementary it was "Wacky Wednesday."

Thursday's theme, "Bearcat Pride" prepared students to be ready to cheer on the volleyball team as Heartland hosted a triangular in the evening.

"Huskie Pride" was evident on Friday as students enjoyed the community pep rally after the parade was canceled due to rain.

The community pep rally featured a performance from the cheerleaders, and dance and song competitions from each high school class. After all contests were tallied, the seniors were declared the winners.

Friday evening held the home football game followed by the homecoming coronation. Congratulations to Josh Goertzen and Hallie Tesssman who were crowned king and queen. A dance for Grades 9-12 concluded the evening.

Thanks to everyone who made it a fun week!
