HCS Welcomes New Staff Members

Highlighting the new teachers:
Mrs. Yantzie loves small schools. She grew up in Madrid, Nebraska, and graduated from Wheatland High School. She earned an undergraduate business degree from Doane College and teacher certification and Masters in Administraton from UNK.
Karma taught 7-12 grade business/computer for 19 years at Shickley Public Schools while also serving in various extracurricular roles.
She and her husband Doug reside in York. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family, shop, golf, travel, watch Husker volleyball, and attend Husker football games.
Mark Hieber comes to Heartland after having been the music director at Litchfield Public Schools for the past seven years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Music Endorsement from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
He and his wife Katie have a 10-year-old daughter and live in St. Paul. Mr. Hiebner enjoys a good round of golf and is an avid Husker fan.
