Two Heartland Students Participate in NEMA Children's Choir

Two Heartland students participated in the Nebraska Music Education Association Children's Choir on Thursday, November 16.

According to the NEMA website, "Students in fourth and fifth grades (whose teachers are NMEA members) are offered a chance to work with acclaimed conductors during odd-years of the Nebraska Music Education Association Conference/Clinic. This is a one-day event with the final performance on the Lied Center for Performing Arts main stage. The next Children's Choir will be during the 2025 NMEA Conference."

Nate Kroeker and Tori Buzek were selected from Heartland and accompanied by their teacher, Lynn Hall.

In total, 314 students participated in the 2023 Children's Choir.
