On Friday, October 6, the third graders attended the Plum Creek Literacy Festival in Seward.

The festival is hosted each year by Concordia University.

Students were able to meet with popular children's authors including Billy Steers, Michael Garland, and Scott Nash.

They were able to observe different styles of writing and learn about the writing process.
