Thayer Central Golf Invite

The Thayer Central Invite on May 13 at the Hebron Country
Club saw Heartland finishing fifth out of a field of 13.
Huskies scored 335, only 10 behind the meet winner, Fillmore
Central, who shot 325. Leading the way for the Huskies was
Jesse Nissen. Nissen finished in first place with a 73. He
shot a 38 on the front and came back with a 35 to win by 3
strokes.

Next came eleventh place medalist Tavis Koehn with
81. His front nine was 40, and he finished with 41. Spencer
Friesen ended with an 86 by shooting 43 on both the front
and back nines. Seth Schaldecker finished with 95 starting
with a 49 on the front and ending with 46 on the back. Luis
Romo shot a 108 with a front nine of 55 and a back of 53.
