TRACK AND FOOTBALL FIELD IMPROVEMENTS
Dr. James Ohrt and Larry Vancura are currently seeking pledges towards a major construction project for Heartland Community Schools. The project includes replacing the existing track and improving the football field. The total cost of this project is over $400,000. The Heartland Board of Education has already budgeted money for the project, but not enough to cover the total sum.
Over $100,000 has already been pledged in money or labor by businesses, alumni, and local patrons. Time does not allow them to contact everyone who might want to contribute toward this project. If you are interested in pledging an amount of money, please complete the form below and return to Dr. James Ohrt or Larry Vancura. Donations are tax deductible through the Henderson Community Foundation. Gifts are flexible and can be spread out over calendar years 2009-2010. All donors will be recognized on a recognition board for their contribution toward this project. Please consider investing in the future of Heartland students by giving generously toward this cause.
