Heartland Golf Team Makes State
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Heartland golf team is headed to state. The girls qualified at Districts with a team score of 392, placing 3rd to qualify. Districts was held at Hidden Acres golf course on Tuesday, October 6, in Beatrice. Individually, Elizabeth Mestl placed 2nd with a score of 82 and Maddie Miller placed third with a score of 87. Lincoln Christian's Olivia Lovegrove, shot a 77 to place 1st. Lincoln Christian placed 1st with a team score of 378 and Lincoln Lutheran's team placed second with a score of 383. The Huskies are headed to State golf Monday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 13. They will play in Columbus at the Elks Country Club. Good luck girls!
