Heartland Golfers Brave the Cold

Despite the blustery weather, golfers did well at Friend on April 2. Winning the meet was Hastings St. Cecilia with 303. Heartland shooting 372 ended up fourth out of nine teams, one stroke behind Southern. The overall winner was Jono Schwenka with 70 from Hasting St. Cecilia. Medaling for Heartland was Jesse Nissen shooting an 82 for fifth and Alex Block hitting 91 for fourteenth place. Following was Cory Gabehart 99; Tavis Koehn 100 and Nick Heinrichs with 101. The next major competition will be at Milford on Wednesday, April 9
