FFA Students Compete at District LDE's

Heartland FFA students headed to The Leadership Center, in Aurora, Wednesday, January 13th, to compete at District LDEs. LDEs, or Leadership Development Events, provide FFA members with experience in the practice of influencing others through speaking parliamentary procedure competitions. Students compete at District LDEs in order to qualify for competition at State FFA Convention in the Spring. Members who placed: Carson Ott, Purple, Sr. Public; Cheyenne Danielson, Purple, and Ben Janzen, Blue in Creed Speaking; Lauren Quiring, Purple, Natural Resources; Maddie Miller, Red, and Maverick Hiebner, Red in Employment Skills; Tyler Lewis, Purple (3rd), in Extemp speaking; Grace Regier, Purple (2nd and State Qualifier), and Allie Boehr, Red in Jr. Public Speaking.
