Sidewalk Closed - New Route

Beginning Friday afternoon 9/16/22, the city will begin painting the water tower in Henderson. The sidewalk near the water tower will be closed for about a month. We looked at the possible routes for children when walking to school. We believe the best option is for us to mark off a walkway for students to walk in the alley, then along the edge of the parking lot. During this time, there will be NO PARKING in the alley and along the west side of the parking lot. Please talk with your students that walk and drive to ensure that everyone is aware of new routes for students so we can keep all students safe.
