State Volleyball - Updated Information!

Headed to State!

Congratulations to the Heartland Volleyball team and coaches for winning D1-4 District.
The team defeated Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 3-1.  Scores were:  18-25, 25-20, 25-19, and 25-21. 

At the state tournament, Heartland vs Blue Hill on Thursday @ 5:30 pm at Lincoln East.  Support our team at the State Championship Tournament.

We will have a full day of school on Thursday and buses will run as usual.  As always, you may pick up your child at any time if you need an earlier start.  If the team wins on Thursday, they will play on Friday at 11:00 AM at Pinnacle Bank Arena.  In this case, we will not have school on Friday.  Should the team lose on Thursday, school will be in session as usual on Friday.

Admission Tickets. The general admission tickets (Adults $7, Students $5) sold at each site will be used at all sites. This ticket is good for admittance at one site only. The facility will not be cleared between matches, but if you leave you will need to purchase another ticket.

The students and team followers are expected to exhibit sportsmanlike behavior during the tournament. Any person becoming disorderly will be removed from the game site. 
 It is the expectation that all student spectators wear shirts for all state events. 
  • Fire Precautions. Shredded paper and confetti should not be carried into the facilities by your fans. 
  • Balloons will not be allowed in the facilities. 
  • Signs and Banners. Handheld signs which are not directed at the opposition and are not derogatory in nature, may be held in the seating areas. Signs should not be carried around the floor. Due to facility restrictions – BANNERS will not be allowed to be hung in Pinnacle Bank Arena or Devaney. 
  • Artificial Noisemakers. The use of artificial noisemakers is prohibited. (Examples: air horns, whistles, bells, etc.) Megaphones are to be used by cheerleaders only. Band instruments, including drums, are not to be played at any time other then when the entire band is playing. Bands should not be permitted to play except prior to the game, at intermissions and time-outs. 
  • Items by team members or fans will not be thrown into the crowd.
