New Staff Members

Fred Hess, Tim Elge, Shelly Mowinkle, and Jennie Eck

The Heartland district is welcoming three new faculty members and three support staff members this year.

Fred Hess is teaching music at the Bradshaw Attendance Center two days a week.  He recently retired from the High Plains Community School District and has previously taught in Bradshaw. Fred and his wife, Toni, live in York.

Tim Elge is the special education teacher at the Bradshaw Attendance Center.  He is an assistant coach in high school football and track.  Tim graduated in 1999 from UNL and has previously taught in Bennington and Omaha.  Tim and his wife, Molly, and baby son, Daniel, live in Aurora.

Shelly Mowinkle is the new business education teacher.  She is teaching in both the Henderson and Bradshaw Attendance Centers.  Shelly will co-sponsor FBLA and assist with Jr. High girls basketball.  Shelly graduated from Wayne State College in 2000 and earned her MA degree from UNL in 2002.  Shelly and her husband, Brandon, and daughter, Calyn, live in Milford.

Jennie Eck will be working in the kitchen.  She and her husband, Mahlon, live in Henderson.

Wendy Janzen is the superintendent's secretary/bookkeeper.  Wendy graduated from Bethel College with a degree in business administration.  Wendy and her husband, JayDee, live in Henderson.

 

 

Aaron Jones will be working in the kitchen.  He also is employed at the Henderson Food Mart and lives in Henderson.
