Heartland 8th Grade Careers Class Visits Hospital

On Thursday, October 29, the Heartland 8th grade Careers class members and Mrs. Koehler visited the Henderson Community Hospital while studying the Health Science career cluster. The class visited the physical therapy, laboratory, emergency, and radiology departments of the hospital, and also toured the Care Center, Rosewood Ct, and Medical Clinic. Jill Meyers conducted the tour and Sue Sullivan also discussed the many opportunities available in the nursing field. The students enjoyed the tour and appreciated finding out more about health science careers.
