Fourth Grade History Fair at Heritage Park Epp Barn
Fourth Grade Research Open House
by Suzanne Ratzlaff
Fourth graders from Heartland will be presenting their personal research projects at Henderson’s Heritage Park this Sunday afternoon, April 13, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. The research boards will be on display in the Epp Barn, as the children stand by their individual boards and perform short presentations.
A variety of interesting topics have been researched this year, such as grandparents, family trees, military service, and so much more. The story of Dr. George Flippin’s son has also been researched. Dr. Flippin began practicing medicine in Henderson around 1887.
Family, friends and community members are welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon of stories and memories told by our local, enthusiastic fourth grade researchers. Admission cost is $2.00 per person.
