How does the amount of time gum is chewed affect its mass?
Every two minutes 5th graders would chew their gum, weigh it and record its weight in grams. They discovered that the longer they chewed the gu, the mass kept decreasing and finally leveling off.

After graphing the results they found out that Bubble Yum grape gum kept its flavor the longest and didn't decrease its weight as fast, but Big Red lost its flavor and decreased its weight right away.
Hubba Bubba and Bubblicious kept their flavor and decreased their weight slowly, whereas Juicy Fruit lost its flavor and decreased but then leveled off.
