Heartland FBLA Members Win Awards

Nine members of the Heartland FBLA chapter won awards during three business competitions attended in the month of February. On February 4, the students competed in the SECC-Beatrice Business Competition. The results are as follows: Brianna Rader – 1st Entrepreneurship, 4th Proofreading/Spelling, 7th Economics; Clint Kroeker – 2nd Accounting II, 2nd Office Systems and Procedures; Crista Buller – 4th Accounting II; Jennifer Goossen – 5th Word Processing.

On February 12, the students competed in the Phi Beta Lambda UNK Business Competition. The following students won awards: Clint Kroeker – 1st Marketing, 4th Economics, 4th Computer Literacy; Brianna Rader – 2nd Economics, 6th Business Systems and Procedures, 6th Filing; Tiffanie Squire – 5th Spelling; Randian Spencer – 6th Business Law; Crista Buller – 3rd Business Systems and Procedures; Tori Bittinger – 1st Keyboarding II Production, 4th Accounting I; Kimberly Goossen – 1st Keyboarding II Production; Sondra Buller – 1st Keyboarding I Production, 4th Keyboarding I Knowledge.

Finally, on February 18, the students competed in the Peru State College Business Contest. The results are as follows: Clint Kroeker – 1st Marketing, 3rd Business Math, 4th Business Communications; Brianna Rader – 4th Economics, 5th Entrepreneurship, 5th Personal Finance; Kimberly Goossen – 4th Keyboarding I Skills.
