AES Scholarship — to be eligible you must answer the essay question in 500-1000 words, When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey? You don't have to be going into engineering to apply. Wendy’s High School Heisman …. This award is open to 2019 seniors who have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA, participate in at least one school-sponsored sport, be a proven leader and role model. Apply on line at wendyshighschoolheisman.com. Deadline is October 17, 2018.

HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP - is now open to seniors who have at least a 2.0 GPA, require financial assistance ($55,000 or less AGI), be pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year college/university), display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, have courage and be a U.S. citizen. Criteria       
* High school seniors who have overcome challenges and can articulate their education and/or career actions.    
* At a minimum, students must have a composite ACT® score of 22 on a single test date. *Deadline: Oct. 31

RHOP Scholarship: This is a cooperative program between UNMC and Chadron State College. Students can earn a tuition waiver scholarship and have guaranteed admission in their program of study at UNMC. Click here for more info: http://www.csc.edu/sci/rhop/index.csc. Deadline: Nov. 15.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation: The Hagan Scholarship Foundation is need-based merit scholarship. It provides up to $6000 each semester for 8 semesters. Must have a 23 or higher ACT score. Must have an EFC of $6,500 or less. Deadline: Nov. 15.

Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Eligibility: Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
