Hello, Heartland Families. I am so excited to read one of my favorite new books to you, “The Good Egg” written by Jory John & Pete Oswald. Many of you know that we have about 40 chickens on our farm, so when I find a book about chickens or eggs I have to pick it up.

When the story is over, I encourage you to get permission from mom or dad to decorate an egg. I decorated a real egg, but you could also decorate a paper egg.
