Nick Thieszen Headed to State Geography Bee
Launch the media gallery 1 playerNick Thieszen qualified to compete in the 2020 Nebraska State Geography Bee. The initial round of Geography Bees were first held locally in schools with fourth through eighth grade students to determine each school's Bee winner. School-level winners then took a qualifying test which was submitted to the National Geographic Society. This group invited the students with the top 100 scores in each of the 50 states to compete at the state level. Nick scored in the top 100 in the state of Nebraska.
The Nebraska Bee will be March 27. Congratulations to Nick for this honor, and we wish you the best at the state competition.
