The Heartland music department took part in the Class C and D District Music Contest at Sutton on Thursday, April 20^th and Friday, April 21^st.  Overall, the musicians received 18 superior ratings and 4 excellent ratings.  The students and the directors appreciated the support from the Heartland patrons who traveled to attend the contest.

Katrina Hiebner – trumpet ensemble, excellent

Kate Bergen – trumpet ensemble, excellent

Kori Siebert – trumpet ensemble, excellent

Woodwind Choir, Brass Choir, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Madrigal, and Mixed Chorus – superior
