Volleyball Team are Champions at St. Cecilia Tournament
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Heartland volleyball traveled to Hastings St. Cecilia to face 5 opponents this week. They were victorious in all matches to become the Champions of the St. Cecilia Tournament.
On Tuesday, they defeated Cross County, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23 (2-1) and defeated Hastings St. Cecilia, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21 (2-1).
On Thursday, they faced three teams and defeated: Lawrence-Nelson, 25-22, 25-18 (2-0) in two, Superior, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22 (2-1) in three and Wood River, 25-22, 25-20 (2-0) ins straight sets.
Congratulations to the team and coaches on a great week of Huskies volleyball. The team overall record is now 13-4.
