Paige Mestl Signs With Midland University
Launch the media gallery 1 playerHeartland Community Schools golfer Paige Mestl has signed with Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. Paige is the daughter of James and Gina Mestl of Henderson, Nebraska. As a golfer for Heartland Community Schools throughout all four years of high school, Paige has won many honors and accolades. In addition to being on the 2014 Class C Nebraska Coaches Association All-State team, she was a participant at the Girls' State Golf Tournament all four years as well. When asked why she chose Midland University, Paige said, " I chose to go there because if felt like a perfect fit for me as well as a great place to continue my golf career and pursue my education." Heartland coach Susan Mazour Shaneyfelt said of Paige, "I am very excited for her and and her committment to play golf for Midland University for the next four years. I know that although she has already known tremendous success during high school, the best is yet to come."
