Heartland Art Show
On May 4th, Heartland Art Club hosted the annual high school art show in the theatre hallway of the school. The art show was judged in two categories 3-D and 2-D. Junior Anna King received the Best in Show in 3-D for her ceramic vase and in 2-D for her batik project. Honorable Mentions were also awarded in these two categories. Receiving Honorable Mentions in 2-D included Tyler Henry, freshman for a colored pencil drawing; Sondra Buller, sophomore for a acrylic painting; and Portia Lyons, senior for a batik. In the 3-D category students who received Honorable Mentions were Ashley Bittinger, freshman for a ceramic mask; Katie Wilhelm, senior for a mixed media project; and Portia Lyons, senior for a ceramic vase.
