Heartland Junior High Halloween Party

The Heartland Junior High students had a chance to show off their best dance moves at the Halloween party held on Thursday, October 30. Each homeroom had a chance to create their own dance routine to the Michael Jackson song “Thriller”. Mr. Hall, Mr. Carr and Mrs. Gerken judged them on their creative dance moves, costuming, coordination of dancing, involvement of all homeroom members, and overall performance. Vesuvius took top honors while Stromboli came in 2nd. Students also got to dress up in Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat with the homeroom teachers, drink Halloween “swamp water” and watch their Thriller performances.
