National Geography Bee
Heartland students competed in the annual National Geography Bee on January 17. Miranda Janzen, an eighth grade student, won the Bee and will take the test to qualify for the state competition. Another eighth grade student, Brielle van den Berg, placed second and sixth grader, Allison Braun came in third place.
