SNC Sportsmanship Summit

On Wednesday, September 12, the Southern Nebraska Conference Sportsmanship Summit was held at Stone Creek in McCool Junction. Attending from Heartland Community Schools were: Cortney Janzen, Jamison Hollstien, Kellen Goertzen, Nick Heinrichs, Kayla Ott, Chase Chrisman, Katie Wilhelm, Jarred Erb, Tori Bittinger, Tanner Steingard, and sponsors Larry Vancura and Blaine Friesen. The students participated in many activities which are designed to promote positive spirit and good sportsmanship in their schools. Some of the activities included “one word cheer”, school posters, balloon toss, and the human web.
